When most hear of Las Vegas, they usually think of the strip. Fewer consider the many other communities throughout the valley. Like the hidden gem of a city to our south called Henderson.
In fact, located 16 miles southeast of Las Vegas, Henderson is the second largest city with an estimated population of 308,000 in Nevada and is nestled against the Black Mountain Range in the southeast part of our valley and is in close proximity to Lake Mead National Recreation Park and Boulder City.

For many Henderson residents, Lake Mead tops the list of attractions. Formed by the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead is the largest reservoir in the United States. This national conservation area is 112 miles long and offers more than 750 miles of shoreline, ranging from the spectacular Hoover Dam to the Valley of Fire.
